Neersa is Found in 2022, Neersa Foundation was born from a simple belief — that every child and woman, no matter where they live, deserves a life of dignity, hope, and opportunity.
Neersa Foundation draws its name from the word "Neer", meaning water—gentle, pure, and free-flowing. Just as water nourishes life and quenches thirst without asking anything in return, Neersa flows into the lives of those who are often forgotten—bringing comfort, care, and hope.
In the narrow lanes of urban slums and settlements life is a daily struggle. Many families fight hunger, lack of education, and poor hygiene — but through small acts of kindness and consistent support, we help them reclaim their dreams.

Years of Experience
Ayesha, just 7 years old, once spent her days collecting scraps in Mamura Basti instead of going to school. Hunger was her everyday reality, and dreams were too expensive to have.
Through Neersa Foundation’s skill workshops, Sunita learned mehendi design and basic stitching. She now takes mehendi orders during festivals and weddings and earns extra income from stitching clothes for her neighbours.
